Mpumalanga Provincial Legislature conduct public education workshops

The Select Committee on Improvement of Quality of Life and Status of Women, Youth, Children and People with Disabilities will be conducting Public Education Workshops on the 16 Days of Activism against Women and Children. The workshops are be scheduled as follows:

Objectives of the Educational Workshop

• to assess the impact of the awareness campaign conducted during the 16 days of activism for no violence against women and children since it started in 1999;
• to assess the role played by the following government institutions in combating these act of violence against women and children:

SAPS;

Department of Justice and Constitutional Development;
Department of Health and Social Development

Members of the media are invited to attend.
