The Souvernir Shop

The Souvenir Shop was officially opened by the Honourable Speaker of the Mpumalanga Provincial Legislature on the occasion of the launch on 15 November 2005, at a function which was attended by Members of the Provincial Legislature, Members of the Executive Council, Members of the public, Business people, the Media, Religious Leaders, Schools and Staff of the Legislature.

Since its establishment, the Mpumalanga Legislature’s Souvenir Shop has attracted local, national and international visitors to the Mpumalanga Provincial Legislature and these exclude guests to sittings at the Chamber. The establishment of the Souvenir Shop forms part of the drive to brand the Legislature as one of the province’s most sought-after tourist destinations.

All items are an extension of the Mpumalanga Provincial Legislature brand and the objective of making these available is to strengthen relations between the Legislature and its clients.  Items are also procured from Small Medium and Micro Entrepreneurs. Read more... (PDF)
